Every year I make my teachers goodie bags full of chocolate covered strawberries. They love them. All teachers finish them before lunch. You have to love this recipe. they are fun and easy!

Ingredients
- 16 ounces milk chocolate chips ( white or regular milk chocolate
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 pound fresh strawberries w/ leaves
How To Make chocolate covered strawberries

Step 1In a chocolate melter or a double boiler, melt the chocolate and shortening. Also, remember to stir the chocolate occasionally until smooth.

Step 2Insert toothpicks into the tops of the strawberries.

Step 3Holding the strawberries by the toothpicks, dip strawberries into the chocolate mixer.

Step 4Put parchment paper on a flat pan, when your finished dipping your strawberry lay it on the pan,

Step 5After your finished dipping all the strawberries put the pan in refrigerator.

Step 6You can decide when to take out strawberries. When you are ready to put them in the bags, take the toothpicks out of before you put them in.
