I had bought some fresh peaches and blueberries, decided I would make a cobbler with it. This version is not real sweet, which I love and my husband did too!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 c
    sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 c
    blueberries, fresh
  • TOPPING

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon

How to Make Blueberry Peach Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. In a saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring until thick. Add fresh fruit and pour into a buttered baking 8x8 pan. (if you want to make larger dessert use a 2 quart baking pan)
  2. For topping combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in milk and butter. Pour over fruit mixture.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until topping is golden brown. This is best when served warm. Enjoy!
