The season for wild blueberries will soon be here and this recipe can be made with the wild berries or the cultivated ones which are cheaper and nearly as tasty.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chilled canola oil
- FILLING
- 2 packages 8 ounce each cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup 35% whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons each vanilla and lemon zest
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups blueberries, fresh
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
How To Make blueberry cheesecake bars

Step 1Heat oven to 375F...Base.....Stir flour with sugar and salt..drizzle with oil and mix together...Press all but 1/3 cup into foil lined 9 inch square pan. Bake 15 minutes or until edges are golden. Remove from oven and set aside to prepare filling.

Step 2Beat cream cheese with sugar whipping cream.vanilla and lemon zest. beat until very smooth..On low speed mix in eggs until all wellcombined.

Step 3Scatter half the berries over crust , pour cream cheese mix over berries and scatter with remaining berries and add remaining crumbs and nuts on top.

Step 4Bake for 25 minutes or until cheesecake is just slightly jiggly in the centre...cool to room temperature before cutting into squares.
