  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 large
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    chocolate syrup
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 c
  • 12 oz
    dark chocolate chips

How to Make Triple Chocolate Delights


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with either parchment paper or a silpat mat.
  2. Beat the butter and shortening in mixer on high for 1-2 minutes until creamy. Add brown sugar and beat on medium high 2 minutes longer, until light and fluffy.
  3. Add soda, salt, cinnamon, eggs, cocoa powder, syrup and vanilla; beat on medium until well incorporated.
  4. Add flour, 1/4 cup at a time, and beat on low until thoroughly mixed in. Mix in chocolate chips by hand and drop onto prepared cookie sheet. The cookie dough should be the size of walnuts.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or just until set in the middle. Don't overbake. Cool on cookie sheet 2-3 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
