Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (the kind you put in milk)
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
How To Make triple chocolate cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2In the bowl of a mixer, combine butter, shortening and light brown sugar. Mix on medium high until light and fluffy, 1-2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla; beat on medium until combined thoroughly.

Step 3In a large bowl, whisk together soda, salt, cinnamon, cocoa and flour. Gradually add to the butter mixture in mixing bowl and beat on low until combined. Add chocolate syrup and chocolate chips; beat on medium just until combined.

Step 4Drop by heaping tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes, or until set, but don't over bake. Remove cookies to cooling rack. Serve warm or store in an airtight container once cooled.
