Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 dash(es)
    salt
  • 1 c
    butterscotch chips
  • 1 c
    vanilla or white chocolate chips

How to Make Tri-flavor Treats

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375. In large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift or whisk together flour, cocoa, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Fold in butterscotch and vanilla chips.
  2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto UNGREASED cookie sheets, 3" apart. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool 3 min. on cookie sheet and remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
