Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chopped almonds
- 6 ounces english toffee bits (find with semi sweet chocolate chips)
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***
How To Make toffee almond sandies

Step 1In large mixing bowl, cream butter and both sugars using electric mixer. Add oil, eggs and extract mixing well.

Step 2Combine both flours, baking soda, cream of tarter and salt in medium bowl. Gradually add to creamed mixture.

Step 3Stir in almonds and toffee bits.

Step 4Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.

Step 5Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned.
