This recipe comes from a colleague of mine many years ago. I have made these cookies for my family and friends many times. They all love it. It is sinfully good. I hope you will feel the same when you make them. They do not last long and they'll be begging for more believe me.

Ingredients

- 1cup of butter/margarine
- 2cups of brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 4tsp baking powder
- 1cup chocolate chips
- 30 squares of caramilk bars (or 1 square for each cookie)

How To Make surprise chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

Cream butter/margarine and sugar together

Step 2

Add eggs one at a time and beat until mixed
Step 3

Combine baking powder with the flour and add to egg mixture. Mix until just moistened
Step 4

Add chocolate chips and mix
Step 5

Dough will be somewhat sticky to handle. Chill in fridge for approximately 1/2 to 1 hr. before rolling
Step 6

use a square of a caramilk bar (for each cookie) and form the cookie dough around it and place on a cookie sheet
Step 7

Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes in a 350F oven
Step 8

let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan
Step 9
