Ingredients

2-3/4 cflour

1-1/2 csugar

1 cbutter, softened

2eggs

2 tspcream of tartar

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla

1/4 tspsalt

SUGAR MIXTURE

3 Tbspsugar

1-1/2 tspcinnamon
How to Make Snickerdoodles
- Mix butter, 1-1/2 cups sugar and eggs in a large bowl.
Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture.
Chill dough for about 10 to 15 minutes in the fridge. - Stir together sugar and cinnamon in small bowl.
- Shape dough into 1 -inch balls; roll in sugar mixture.
Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
