Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 - eggs
- 2 3/4 cups sifted flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tarter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
How To Make snickerdoodles

Step 1Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups of sugar and eggs. Sift flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt. Add to mixture and mix until blended.

Step 2Form into balls size of walnuts. Mix 2 Tbsp. sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Roll dough balls in sugar mixture and place 2 inches apart on un-greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Step 3Note: They will puff then flatten out.
