skor cookies
I love Skor bars and chocolate chips, so when I found this recipe I had to try it. It's a family favorite. The cookies stay soft. The original recipe is from The All-New Ultimate Southern Living Cookbook, but I changed a couple of the quantities.

About 4 dozen, depending on size.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 - large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons flour (add to amount above)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (i use mini chocolate chips)
- 1/2 cup toffee bits (skor bits)
How To Make skor cookies

Step 1Beat together the butter and both sugars until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Step 2Mix in flour, baking soda and salt. When combined beat in chocolate chips and toffee bits.

Step 3Scoop onto cookie sheets ( I do about a teaspoon of dough for each cookie). Bake at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes. (8 minutes was good in my oven).
