simple chocolate chip cookies
Not sure if I got this recipe out of a cook book or off the back of a bag of chocolate chips, but either way, its awfully good. The trick is using real butter and never margarine, at least in my opinion.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup well packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - large eggs
- 1 - (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate morsels
How To Make simple chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small mixing bowl. Set aside.

Step 3Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until creamy.

Step 4Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 5Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Step 6Stir in chocolate morsels.

Step 7Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 8Bake for 7 minutes or so.

Step 9Cool on wire wracks.
