1 cjif creamy peanut butter
-
1/2 ccrushed salted peanuts (may be omitted)

1/2 cbutter crisco all-vegetable shortening
-
1/2 cfirmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cgranulated sugar

1/2 choney
-
3 Tbspmilk
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1large egg
-
1 3/4 call purpose flour

3/4 tspbaking soda

1 1/2 tspsalt
How to Make Salted Honey Nut Cookies
- Cream together shortening, peanut butter, honey, nuts and sugars well.
- gently mix in egg, vanilla, and milk until well incorporated.
- mix in flour,baking soda and salt.
- refrigerate mixture for 30 minutes and preheat oven to 375 degrees while chilling the dough.
- roll into 2 teaspoon balls (I use a 2 tsp scoop now!) drop onto un-greased cookie sheet, cross pattern with fork tines and bake for 6-8 minutes.
