Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 - egg, well beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup drained, crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make pineapple nut cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Grease a baking sheet. Cream shortening with sugars and egg. In another bowl, add all dry ingredients together. Add pineapple to shortening mixture. Gradually add dry ingredients, vanilla and then nuts.

Step 2Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
