pecan balls

Cookies are small. I usually make 3 to 4 batches at one time. These cookies go quickly and they are a favorite of many.

Ingredients For pecan balls

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped

How To Make pecan balls

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together
  • 2
    Gradually add flour and pecans until thoroughly mixed
  • 3
    Roll dough into small balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Cookies should be lightly browned.

    Roll cookies in powdered sugar when hot and again when cold. Makes about 40 cookies.
