Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 3 cups oats, quick cooking
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup raisins
How To Make oatmeal cookies

Step 1Cream first 4 ingredients. Add eggs and beat well.

Step 2Mix in remainder of ingredients, except raisins. Stir well.

Step 3Add raisins. (Note - Let raisins soak in boiling water for a few minutes to soften. Drain before adding to batter.)

Step 4Drop by teaspoon (or tablespoon for a larger cookie) on a greased cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake at 350 for 7 to 12 minutes or until brown around the edges and no longer glossy on top. Cooking time depends on the size of the cookies.
