Ingredients
- 3 sticks unsalted butter
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground giner
- 1/2 teaspoon ground or fresh grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
How To Make molasses spice cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to convection bake 335 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. Mix butter sugar and molasses. Add eggs, mix well and scrape bowl. Add dry ingredients. Remove from mixer, scoop together then flatten slightly, push raisins in, knead dough very gently 6x working in raisins, combining all crumbs, etc, until it has a smooth consistency. Make a small ball, about a teaspoon, roll in sugar and bake 335 convection bake 9 minutes. Let cool a few minutes (this is when the beautiful cracks appear) on baking sheet before transferring to cooling rack -very important!!
