Years ago, a friend of my mom's gave her this recipe, and she gave it to me. Now I see Magic Cookies everywhere...hopefully, you will want to try this recipe.

Ingredients

1/2 stick
butter
16 oz
honey nut cherrios
16 oz
graham crackers
14 oz
eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
6 oz
chocolate chips
6 oz
miniature marshmallows
6 oz
sweet flaked coconut

How to Make Magic Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

    If you are using a glass baking dish, preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • 2Melt the butter.
  • 3In a food processor, blend the Cherrios and graham crackers to make four cups of crumbs.
  • 4Combine the melted butter and the Cherrios/graham cracker mixture.
  • 5Pat this mixture into a greased 13x9 pan to make the crust.
  • 6Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the crust.
  • 7Evenly layer the chocolate chips, marshmallows and coconut over the sweetened condensed milk.
  • 8Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • 9Cool before cutting. Serve and enjoy.
