These are my favorite Christmas sweet treat! I have been making them for many years. They are rich, but perfect, with a glass of milk.

vegetable cooking spray

1 1/2 cgraham cracker crumbs, or corn flake crumbs with 3 tbs. sugar

1/2 cbutter or margarine
-
1 can(14 oz) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk or same brand fat-free (not evaporated milk)

1 cchopped walnuts
-
1 pkg(6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 can(3 1/2 oz) flaked coconut (1 1/3 cups)

1Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F glass baking dish). Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking pan, with vegetable spray.

2Put butter in baking pan. Melt butter in the oven. Remove from oven, and sprinkle graham cracker crumbs, or corn flake crumbs with sugar, over the melted butter. Spread it out, if necessary. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs.

3Scatter chocolate chips over sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle with coconut, & chopped walnuts. Press down firmly, with your hand, over ingredients.

4Bake 25-30 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool thoroughly, before cutting. Store loosely covered, at room temperature.
