I found this recipe on http://jensfavoritecookies.com/ . Haven't tried it yet but I love lemon sweets and these cookies sound like they will melt in your mouth.

1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make lemon sugar cookies

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. 1. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. 2. Add lemon juice, salt, soda, and baking powder and mix well. 3. Add flour and mix until combined. Dough should be thick and crumbly. 4. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
