peanut butter cookies
It took me a few years to come up with this recipe. Others I tried turned out too greasy or too soft, but this one is just right!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
How To Make peanut butter cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2In medium sized bowl measure out dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, & salt) and set aside

Step 3Using a stand mixer blend together cold butter cut into pats and peanut butter

Step 4Add sugar and brown sugar to butters and blend till smooth

Step 5Whisk eggs in a small bowl, then add to dough and mix well

Step 6Gradually ad dry ingredients until well blended

Step 7Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls or use a scoop. Press with the tines of a fork dipped in flour, in two directions to create a crisscross pattern on each cookie

Step 8Bake for 8 - 10 minutes till slightly golden, then cool on waxed paper
