Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon anise extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

How To Make italian biscotti

  • Step 1
Beat oil, eggs, sugar and extract. Mix well. Combine Flour and Baking powder. Add flour mixture into wet mixture in 3 parts. The batter will be very thick. Divide dough in 1/2 put on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper (easier) Form into 2 rolls 12 inches long. Pat it down to 1/2 inch high. Bake 15-20 minutes on 350. Cool slightly and slice. If you want to re bake 6-8 minutes more put sliced side down on cookie sheet. If you want a softer cookie don't re bake them. I don't and people love them just the way they are after the first baking (not too hard). Enjoy!!
  • Step 2
The Biscotti are located at the top of the tray..
