Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
How To Make honey oatmeal cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Mix sugar, shortening, eggs, and honey. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 2Bake until light brown, 8-10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. *If using self rising flour, omit baking soda and salt.
