How to Make Ginger cookies
- Mix shortening, ginger and molasses .
- Dissolve soda in warm water and add to mixture.
- Add enough flour to form soft dough(about 3 cups).
- Roll out on floured board and cut into rounds. Bake in a 350° oven until light brown..( about 8 min. ).
- NOTE:if desired dough dough may be formed into 2 rolls, wrapped in wax paper and refridgerated. Slice thin and bake as directed..
