These are another favorite recipe that came from my mom. She made these ever since I was little and we all fought over them! This is a chewy cookie with a surprising crunch.

Ingredients For everyday cookies

1 cwhite sugar

1 cbrown sugar
-
3/4 cvegetable oil
-
1 cbutter(2 sticks)

1egg
-
1 tspvanilla
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspcream of tartar
-
3 1/2 call purpose flour
-
1 crice krispies cereal
-
1 csweetened coconut
-
1 cquick-cooking oatmeal
-
1/2 cwalnuts, pecans, etc. (baker's choice)
How To Make everyday cookies

1Mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt in a large bowl and set aside

2Cream together butter, oil and both sugars until well mixed and then add vanilla.

3Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients just until all moistened.

4Stir in Rice Krispies, coconut, quick-cooking oatmeal and nuts of your choice until blended.

5Roll into 1-inch balls and flatten cookies with a cup dipped in sugar.

6Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
