Ingredients

1 box any flavor cake mix
1 medium egg, beaten
3/4 cup salad oil
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)

How To Make easy cake cookies

Step 1

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Mix all of the ingredients together.
Step 3

Use a teaspoon to measure out the dough, and roll each teaspoon full into a ball.
Step 4

Place each ball on a greased cookie sheet and flatten. (I use a fork because I like the design.)
Step 5

Bake for 12 minutes.
