Love these drop cookies. The powdered sugar gives the cookies a nice crisp, but soft centers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour

How To Make drop sugar cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl cream butter, oil, sugar, salt and powdered sugar together.
  • Step 2
    Add eggs, and vanilla. Then mix your baking soda & cream of tartar into your flour. Slowly add the dry ingredients to egg mixture until nice and creamy and thick.
  • Step 3
    With a medium cookie scoop, scoop dough on parchment lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 12 minutes or a little longer if you like them more golden like I do.
