I tried these guys last night and they were really good. I checked my sugars about an hour and half later and NO SPIKE!

1/3 c
apple sauce
2 c
oatmeal, uncooked
1/4 c
almond milk
1/2 c
raisins
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1 tsp
cinnamon

How to Make Diabetic Oatmeal Fruit Bars

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat your oven to 350
  • 2Toss all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well
  • 3Press the mess into a 9" X 9" square (like me) baking pan, that's been sprayed with PAM or other veggie oil cooking spray
  • 4Bake 15 to 20 minutes
  • 5Cool on a rack before serving
