How To Make crunchy cheetos bacon cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 375^. Cut up bacon into small strips, using kitchen shears(cut right through the package).Fry in small batches (I used the whole package). Let cool. Best if done the day before. Place pieces between paper towels and pat out all the grease you can; set aside.

Step 2In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugars and maple extract. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
-
Step 3Combine 2 cups of the flour with the baking powder and baking soda. Mix to blend. Add slowly to creamed mixture. Blend well. Add remaining flour..blend well until flour in well incorporated.
-
Step 4Remove bowl from mixer and stir in the bacon with a large spatula. Now gently stir in the Cheesy Cheetos. Use round soup spoon and drop cookies onto cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake 10-12 minutes;cool 1 minute on cookie sheet then remove to cool completely. Can frost with Maple frosting, if desired.
