Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sifted flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make crisscross peanut butter cookies

Step 1In a large bowl, combine butter and peanut butter. Beat for 30 seconds at medium speed.

Step 2Add sugar and brown sugar; beat until fluffy.

Step 3Add egg and vanilla; beat well.

Step 4Combine sifted dry ingredients and stir in flour mixture; beat until well blended,

Step 5Refrigerate, covered, at least 1 hour.

Step 6Form dough into 1 inch balls.

Step 7Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Flatten with fork, dipped in flour, making a criss-cross pattern.

Step 8Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Step 9Cool 1 minute; remove to rack.
