These cookies are among my most requested for the Christmas holidays - they are Christmas in a cookie. With the bright cranberries and decadent eggnog flavors, they have won over the pickiest of cookie connoisseurs. The base of the recipe comes from my Great-Great-GREAT grandmother - over 200 years old!

These will be a great addition to your holiday cookie tray. This cookie has a slight eggnog flavor and is delicious with bits of pecans and cranberries in every bite. On top is a citrus glaze that's the perfect final touch. It's full of citrus flavor that's a nice contrast to the cookie.
