Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    unsifted flour
  • 1/2 c
    firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 bag(s)
    12oz. mini chocolate chips
  • 1 can(s)
    14oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts, your choice

How to Make Cookie Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, combine flour and sugar, cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
  2. Press mixture firmly on bottom of 13x9 pan. Bake 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl mix sweetened condensed milk, egg, and vanilla; stir in remaining chips and nuts. Spread evenly over prepared crust. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store leftovers at room temperature.
