I concocted this in the kitchen last night. I was thinking about making chocolate chip cookies, but I was bored with a typical recipe. There were marshmallows sitting on the counter and I wondered what they might taste like in a cookie. They turned out to be quite delicious!

How to Make Cocoa Marshmallow cookies

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Melt marshmallows and chocolate chips in sauce pan on low. Be sure to watch it and constantly stir it because it burns the bottom of the pan easily. Set aside.
  3. Mix cream cheese and butter with a mixer until well blended. Mix in egg and vanilla. Gradually add cake mix and mix well. Mix in chocolate and marshmallow sauce.
  4. Spoon balls about 1 inch in size on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes, depending on oven heat.
