Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 - eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour plus 1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups oatmeal, uncooked
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup holiday red and green chocolate baking chips
1 cup red and green chocolate candies for topping

How To Make christmas monster cookies

Step 1

In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal. Add dry to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Step 3

Roll into balls and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit on lightly greased cookie sheets for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press chocolate candies into tops of cookies. Let sit on sheets for a few minutes, then remove to cooling racks.
