Ingredients

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    butter (not margarine)
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 4 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c
    chopped peanuts
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 c
    oats, uncooked

How to Make Chocolate Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring the sugar, butter, milk and cocoa to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Add the peanuts, oatmeal and vanilla. Drop on cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Let cool. Place in air tight container with wax paper between layers.
