Ingredients

2 stick
butter, unsalted
2 1/2 c
sugar
3 c
all purpose flour
4
eggs, beaten
2 c
chocolate chips
1 c
chopped walnuts
1/2 c
cocoa
2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2 tsp
vanilla

How to Make Chocolate Walnut Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Add flour, nuts and chocolate chips in a large bowl. In a medium sauce pan over medium heat melt butter.
  • 2Add sugar,cocoa, baking soda, salt and vanilla to melted butter, stir well for 2 minutes.
  • 3Remove from heat and slowly( a little at a time so the eggs do not cook ) add the eggs, stir well . Pour mixture into the flour and mix well. Do not use a mixer because you will over mix.
  • 4Place rounded teaspoon on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 10. Let cool 2 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling. ( makes 6 1/2 dozen)
