Ingredients
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 ounce 1 square unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 package 6 ounce semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
How To Make chocolate truffle cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Lightly grease cookie sheets. In large bowl, beat 1/2 cup powdered sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and chocolate; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. At low speed, blend in flour and salt. By hand, stir in chocolate chips.

Step 2Shape into 1 inch balls; place on prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Cool completely. In small bowl, combine 1/4 cup powdered sugar and cocoa. Roll cooled cookies in cocoa mixture.
