Ingredients
- 2 - eggs
- 2-1/4 cup unsifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 package ghirardelli bittersweet cacao chips
- OPTIONAL: CHOPPED WALNUTS, OR PECANS
How To Make chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Preheat oven 375 degrees. Bakes best using a cookie sheet.

Step 2Stir flour, baking soda, and salt then set aside.

Step 3In another bowl cream with fork the softened butter, sugars, vanilla.

Step 4Add eggs then mix at low speed.

Step 5Blend together slowly the dry ingredients then mix in the chocolate chips. Also the nuts if preferred.

Step 6drop by teaspoon full 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking pan.

Step 7bake at 350-375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. According to how hot your oven gets due to the variation which is due to climate. let cool 5-10 minutes then carefully lift from pan for additional cooling. Timing is crucial must be just right for a soft chewy cookie. So keep your eye on the time.
