  • 2-1/4 c
    unsifted flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 3/4 c
  • 2 stick
    unsalted butter
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3/4 pkg
    ghirardelli bittersweet cacao chips

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies


  1. Preheat oven 375 degrees. Bakes best using a cookie sheet.
  2. Stir flour, baking soda, and salt then set aside.
  3. In another bowl cream with fork the softened butter, sugars, vanilla.
  4. Add eggs then mix at low speed.
  5. Blend together slowly the dry ingredients then mix in the chocolate chips. Also the nuts if preferred.
  6. drop by teaspoon full 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking pan.
  7. bake at 350-375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. According to how hot your oven gets due to the variation which is due to climate. let cool 5-10 minutes then carefully lift from pan for additional cooling. Timing is crucial must be just right for a soft chewy cookie. So keep your eye on the time.
