I wanted to add a little something healthy to the chocolate chip biscuits my kids loved, so, I updated the recipe by adding rolled oats. They didnt notice the difference but I felt better about what I was putting in their lunch box.
It's such a quick & easy recipe, the kids can make their own!

Ingredients

75 g
butter
1/2 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
white sugar
1
large egg
1/2 c
chocolate chips/drops
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 c
flour
1/4 c
rolled oats

How to Make Choc Chip & Oat Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Melt butter then add both sugars & the egg. Beat with a fork or whisk until throroughly mixed.
  • 2Sift in flour & baking soda. Sprinkle chocolate chips & rolled oats over. Mix together well (& try not to eat too much mix at this stage as it is so delicious ;).
  • 3Line a baking tray & drop tablespoon lots of the mix onto the tray, leaving room for spreading.
  • 4Bake at 180C for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
