I made these and chocolate chip cookies for my mom one day. I figured my 4 year old would eat up the chocolate chip cookies because they are his favorite but he ate the peanut butter cookies up. I think my mom only had maybe 2.

  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2/3 c
    butter softened
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1
    large egg
  • 6 oz
    peanut butter

How to Make Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Mix butter, honey, brown sugar, milk, peanut butter and vanilla in a separate bowl until creamy.
  4. Beat egg into sugar mixture.
  5. Gradually mix in flour mixture.
  6. Spoon into a ball and place on cookies sheet about 1 1/2-2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for about 2 minutes. Enjoy!
