Ingredients

  • - 1/2 cup butter
  • - 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • - 2 eggs, beaten
  • - 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • - 1/2 cup chopped pecsns or walnuts
  • - 1 cup candied cherries, chopped
  • - 4 slices candied pineapple, red and green, chopped

How To Make candied fruit christmas cookies

  • Step 1
    Cream butter, and sugar until fluffy. Stir in beaten eggs. Mix well.
  • Step 2
    Sift flour and soda together - add to butter and sugar mixture.
  • Step 3
    Mix candied fruit and nuts with 1/4 cup of flour and add to the mixture. Mix well.
  • Step 4
    Drop by teaspoons full on a greased cooking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Do not overcook or fruit will become hard.
