·1/2 cup butter
·1/2 cup light brown sugar
·2 eggs, beaten
·2 cups all-purpose flour
·1/2 teaspoon baking soda
·1/2 cup chopped pecsns or walnuts
·1 cup candied cherries, chopped
·4 slices candied pineapple, red and green, chopped
How to Make Candied Fruit Christmas Cookies
- Cream butter, and sugar until fluffy. Stir in beaten eggs. Mix well.
- Sift flour and soda together - add to butter and sugar mixture.
- Mix candied fruit and nuts with 1/4 cup of flour and add to the mixture. Mix well.
- Drop by teaspoons full on a greased cooking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Do not overcook or fruit will become hard.
