brown sugar

vegetable oil (or butter, softened - recommended)
2 tsp
vanilla
4 c
flour
2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
4 c
corn flakes
1- 1.5 c
rolled oats
1 c
coconut
1 can(s)
dates or nuts (optional)

How to Make Aunt Wilma's Dish Pan Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients to include flour, soda, salt, corn flakes, oats,coconut and nuts. Set aside.
  • 2In separate bowl cream together sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil (or butter), vanilla. Add eggs one at time, mixing well after each addition.
  • 3Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients blending well. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
