These cookies are always a big hit when I serve them to my coffee meeting friends.
Warning - do not use this recipe to make drop cookies. The cookies are delicious little bites but are too sweet to be large cookies.

How to Make Warm White Chocolate Cookie Bits

  1. Ingredients
2 ½ cups All Purpose Flour 625 mL
1 tsp baking powder 5 mL
1 tsp baking soda 5 mL
    ¼ tsp salt 1 mL
1 cup butter, softened 250 mL
½ cup granulated sugar 125 mL
½ cup packed brown sugar 125 mL
    1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract 5 mL
1 cup white chocolate chips 250 mL
½ cup chopped toasted pecans 125 mL
  2. Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir well to blend.

Cream butter, sugars, egg and vanilla together thoroughly. Add flour mixture and beat until combined. Add chocolate chips and pecans.

Shape dough into 4 rolls about 1 ½” (4cm) in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and freeze in plastic freezer bag or airtight container.

Remove desired amount of cookie dough from freezer and allow it to sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes for easier slicing.

Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice dough into ½” (10mm) slices. Cut each slice into quarters. Place dough on prepared baking sheet.

Bake in preheated oven 10 minutes. Serve warm or room temperature.
