Ingredients

  • 1-1/3 c
    light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
    light sour cream
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1-3/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp
    instant coffee granules
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/43 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar

How to Make MOCHA COOKIES

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat brown sugar and oil in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
    Add sour cream, egg, and vanilla; beat until well blended.
  2. Combine flour, cocoa, coffee granules, baking soda, salt and pepper in medium bowl; mix well.
    Beat into brown sugar mixture until well blended.
  3. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours.
  4. Preheat over to 350.
    Place powdered sugar in shallow bowl.
    Shape dough into 1" balls, roll in powdered sugar.
    Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes or until tops of cookies are firm.
    Do not overbake.
    Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
