Just a pinch of cayenne pepper and sea salt, makes this 9x13 inch pan of brownies so good!! So chocolaty they don't need any frosting!!

Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 1/4 cups bittersweet chocolate chips

How To Make fiesta brownies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350* Butter or spray a 9x13 inch pan. Line pan with parchment paper,leaving a 1 inch overhang on 2 sides.
  • Step 2
    Melt butter and stir in cocoa powder till smooth. In a large bowl combine sugar, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Stir in cocoa and butter mixture.
  • Step 3
    Add eggs to mixture beating until just combined. Stir in vanilla. Mix in flour with salt, until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Step 4
    Pour into pan and bake 35-40 min. cool on wire rack.. (p.s.) they will cut easier if you place cooled brownies in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour or so... Enjoy!
