Just a pinch of cayenne pepper and sea salt, makes this 9x13 inch pan of brownies so good!! So chocolaty they don't need any frosting!!

1 c
cocoa powder
3 1/4 c
sugar
3 1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1 pinch
cayenne pepper
4
eggs
1 Tbsp
vanilla extract
2 c
flour
1/2 tsp
sea salt
1 1/4 c
bittersweet chocolate chips

How to Make Fiesta Brownies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350* Butter or spray a 9x13 inch pan. Line pan with parchment paper,leaving a 1 inch overhang on 2 sides.
  • 2Melt butter and stir in cocoa powder till smooth. In a large bowl combine sugar, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Stir in cocoa and butter mixture.
  • 3Add eggs to mixture beating until just combined. Stir in vanilla. Mix in flour with salt, until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • 4Pour into pan and bake 35-40 min. cool on wire rack.. (p.s.) they will cut easier if you place cooled brownies in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour or so... Enjoy!
