Fiesta Brownies



Just a pinch of cayenne pepper and sea salt, makes this 9x13 inch pan of brownies so good!! So chocolaty they don't need any frosting!!

  • 10 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted
  • 1 c
    cocoa powder
  • 3 1/4 c
  • 3 1/2 tsp
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper
  • 4
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
  • 1/2 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1 1/4 c
    bittersweet chocolate chips

How to Make Fiesta Brownies


  1. Preheat oven to 350* Butter or spray a 9x13 inch pan. Line pan with parchment paper,leaving a 1 inch overhang on 2 sides.
  2. Melt butter and stir in cocoa powder till smooth. In a large bowl combine sugar, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Stir in cocoa and butter mixture.
  3. Add eggs to mixture beating until just combined. Stir in vanilla. Mix in flour with salt, until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour into pan and bake 35-40 min. cool on wire rack.. (p.s.) they will cut easier if you place cooled brownies in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour or so... Enjoy!
