  • 1/2 c
    cream, light or heavy
  • 2 Tbsp
    kirsch, or brandy or cointreau
  • DUNKABLES: (EACH ONE IS OPTIONAL)

    angelfood cake, cubes
  • ·
    ladyfingers
  • ·
    orange or tangerine slices
  • ·
    strawberries
  • ·
    bananas, chunks
  • ·
    profiteroles

How to Make Chocolate Fondue a la Chalet Suisse

Step-by-Step

  1. Break the Toblerone into separate triangular pieces.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan or small chafing dish.
  3. Stir over low heat until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  4. Serve in a chafing dish over low heat.
