Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 - 3/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 - 2/3 c
    solid packed pumpkin
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1/3 c
    chopped nuts - optional

How to Make Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.

    Grease 12 large muffin cups or use muffin liners.

    In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

    In another bowl, mix milk, pumpkin, egg and butter - mix well.

    Stir the wet mixture into the dry, only until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  2. Fill muffin cups 3/4 of the way full. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes, then remove from pan. Cool on wire racks.

    Enjoy with a cup of coffee...
