chocolate - caramel - oatmeal bars
I had some left over caramel ice cream topping, so this is what I used it for...I love anything with oats...the fiber oatmeal provides is a plus...enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter, melted
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups quick oatmeal
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 ounces chocolate chips, your choice
- 8 ounces caramel ice cream topping
- 4 tablespoons flour
How To Make chocolate - caramel - oatmeal bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. In a medium bowl, combine butter, flour, baking soda, vanilla, oatmeal, brown sugar and salt. Stir to combine.

Step 2Press half of this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly.

Step 3Combine caramel topping and flour.

Step 4Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Drizzle caramel mixture over chocolate chips.

Step 5Crumble remaining oatmeal mixture over the top of the caramel. Bake for 15 minutes. Let bars cool before cutting
