My Mother's Niece, Madeline is a wonderful cook. When I was visiting her & family in North Carolina last year I asked for some recipes for my cookbook. This delicious recipe is one of those she sent me.

A bunch of chocolate hungry folks
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1, 12 ounces package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 35 - saltine crackers
How To Make tuts toffee

Step 1Line a 12 x 15 inch pan with tin foil. Place saltine crackers 7 down and 5 across in pan.

Step 2Melt brown sugar and butter over stove burner at a low temperature, stirring often. After it's melted, pour over the saltine crackers.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately cover with chocolate chips. When chips melt, spread with spatula. Sprinkle with nuts.

Step 4Cool and break into pieces. Store in refrigerator.
