reese’s easter egg puppy chow
Another holiday brings with it another wonderful and festive puppy chow. This time it’s an Easter puppy chow! I love how easily puppy chow is changed up for different holidays and it’s always such a fun and delicious treat. And the hubs LOVES it! I always know when I make it that he won’t be far behind, waiting to run off with it.

Makes 5 Cups
Ingredients
- 5 cups rice chex cereal
- 10 ounces chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 bag reese's easter eggs (or preferred easter candy)
How To Make reese’s easter egg puppy chow
-
Step 1Put chex cereal into a large bowl.
-
Step 2Microwave chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl for about 1 minute. Stir.
-
Step 3Heat 30 seconds to a minute longer until mixture is fully melted and smooth.
-
Step 4Add chocolate mixture to cereal and stir to coat evenly.
-
Step 5Add powdered sugar and stir until evenly coated. Have patience and stir carefully to not break up the Chex cereal too much.
-
Step 6Add Reese's Easter eggs. I used the whole bag (just under 2 cups) but you could start with 1 cup and add more from there.
